What happens to board meals if I don't use them up every week?
Depending on your plan, board meals are reset every Friday.

What happens to Bulldog Bucks and Flex Dollars if I don't use them up?
Flex Dollars that remain at the end of the semester are forfeited, but Bulldog Bucks carry over from fall semester to spring semester. Remaining Bulldog Bucks will be forfeited as of August 15th each year.

Where can I use board meals?
You can use your board meals at Hubbell Dining, Terrace Court, and also at Spikes Pizza/Sub Shop.

Can I use my board meals for a guest?
Yes. You are also able to use Flex Dollars, Bulldog Bucks, or pay cash.

Do I have to have a meal plan?
It is University policy that if you are staying in the resident halls on campus you must have a meal plan.

When can I change my meal plan?
You are able to change your meal plans up to the first Thursday of the first week of classes each semester.

Are Bulldog Bucks the same as Flex?

No, your Bulldog Bucks are not the same as Flex.  Flex comes with your meal plan and is only accepted at participating ON-CAMPUS locations. Bulldog Bucks is an account that needs to be funded separately and can be used at participating on AND off-campus locations.

What is Bulldog bucks?

Bulldog Bucks is a convenient debit account right on your Drake University ID Card. Make a deposit into your Drake Bulldog Bucks account and you can swipe your card all over campus to pay for the things you use everyday.

How do I sign up for Bulldog Bucks?

To sign up, stop by the Drake Dining office in lower Olmsted Center or call 515-271-3175 to deposit money on your account.    At the Drake Dining office you may select to pay via credit card, cash, or bill your student account.

Where is my Bulldog bucks account? Do I need a separate card?

Bulldog Bucks can be added right on your Drake University ID Card.

Where can Bulldog bucks be used?

Bulldog Bucks can be used both on campus AND off campus. To see a full list of participating off-campus locations, click on the 'Participating Locations' tab at the left of this page. We are always working to expand that list, so please let us know which of your favorite places we should add.
